FT Solomon — FT Partners x Solomon Partners Merger = Ultra Elite Boutique???

If FT Partners and Solomon Partners were to merge to create FT Solomon, would they become the most prestigious, highest paying (200k base for An1), highest ranking, as well the first and only Ultra Elite Boutique (UEB) to have ever existed?

lol the last thing we need on this forum is a new classification like “Ultra Elite Boutique” and have everyone argue that there bank is a: UEB, Tier 1b UEB, “Rising UEB”, etc.

Thx for looping me in. Obviously skeptical of such a prestigious and established institution like FT Partners merging with a lower-tier, albeit rising, elite micro, industry-focused boutique like Solomon partners. However, there are certainly some synergies to be realized. The kid in the Solomon partner video was obviously a rockstar that I would get along well with, and maybe even call “friend”. The biggest concern for me is my very high and prestigious base ($140k for analyst 1) being diluted by some non-fintech schmucks coming in. I just can’t have that. I will work 300 hours a week if I have to, idgaf.

what the fuck is either one of these banks. i haven't heard of them ever, do you guys just slap jewish names and partners together and call it an EB. Reject extreme comp, grind for your own bonus to reach the same as their base, that is the Goldman Way.
