FT vs Internship Experience
Hey everyone,
Was curious as to how full-time IB experience is viewed in London for post-masters IB recruiting, as opposed to the more traditional internship experience most students will have. For context, I've worked for 2+ years as an IB analyst at a boutique in continental Europe and will be attending a target MSc in London.
Would firms look down on my CV for lacking multiple internships at brand-name places like other kids, or would my deal experience over two years make up for it? My work experience section is basically just my current position/deal sheet and an internship I did, like, 6 years ago that I'm only keeping around because it was at an interesting place (think US government institution). Seeing CVs from other candidates with multiple IB/PE internships makes me worried as to how my experience will be perceived, despite being more "substantial".
Appreciate any insights!
