Full-Time Associate - MS Generalist vs. JPM Coverage

Hello Everyone -

I'm deciding between two offers and need your help. I'm a post MBA Associate from a top-20 school and was lucky to get two offers. I don't know if I necessarily see a long-term career for myself in banking but would do 2-3 years and hope to make a move to a Corporate Strategy and Development role as a high manager/low director.

Do you have any recommendation on which path is better? MS associate starts off as a pool while JPM would be a specific coverage group (not M&A or healthcare but well regarded group)

I could see myself working in industry the coverage role. However, I'm also confident I'll get that coverage role at MS after my year is up. But I'm not sold on that industry area; may go small tech start-up or something

Does either brand name make a big difference in terms of getting a corp dev job afterwards?

thanks for the help
