Funniest/strangest deal you’ve worked on

Feeling immature and curious to hear if anyone here has worked with companies that would make the inner kid in anyone snicker (things like condom or sex toy manufacturers, gay dating SPACs, or ridiculous businesses in general.) Had a prospect tell me about a porta potty deal he was on during a bucket shop internship and that really made me wonder what other ridiculous businesses are being sold.

Funniest

Not in IB, but since you mentioned sex toys, I sold my part of a sex toy co for $$$. It was actually the easiest money I have made in some ways. Weird experience.

This was a few years ago now but off the top of my head:

1. Someone senior thought we could definitely resell returns, so we kept them and ended up with a fk ton of used toys.

2. Would routinely be denied things like warehousing space b/c of our industry. Everyone presented very professionally so I was surprised to see this was a problem.

3. Top customers was buying a fleshlight every ~2 weeks. This means we was wearing through them very fast...lol.

4. Would get guys calling our support line and asking our customer service staff to repeat names of specific products. Our CS team was in the Philippines and didn't really catch on.
