Garden Leave and Non-Compete / Solicit in A2A Offer Letter?
I received an A2A offer letter yesterday, and while I’m thrilled, I read the letter and noticed that there is a 30 day garden leave and 60 day non-compete / solicit in there. Is this normal for A2A contracts? The worst part is that the firm accidentally sent me an incorrect copy of the A2A letter initially that did not have the garden leave or non-compete / solicit in there, so it’s clear they felt the need to add one in after the fact. Would be great to get anyone’s thoughts here who recently went A2A.
