I'm currently a freshman and through a connection, I have got an internship this summer at Genpact (formerly GE Capital) on the finance team.
I have also applied for internships at Barclays, ABN AMRO and RBS.
The problem is that, even if I get any of those 3, I'm not sure if I can go there because my contact at Genpact helped me a lot and I don't want to disrespect her like that. So, my question is, would Genpact this summer be worth it?
Also, if anyone is familiar with Genpact, what precisely will I be doing on the Finance team?
Genpact was owned by GE at one point. It is very very different than working for GE Capital. It's an IT company.
Their website says the provide investment banking advisory services as well.
