Gleacher Shacklock info
Hi guys,
I have an offer from Gleacher Shacklock (London), but am closing in on final rounds for Jefferies and Raymond James as well. Can anyone provide any info on GL's position in London in terms of hours/comp/exit opps. I know they are a solid shop in RX, and personally, have ambitions to end up in SSG PE post-IB. Any opinions?
Bump
Bump.
All London ? Or GL (London) vs. Jefferies/Raymond (NYC) ?
Assuming all London
yeap all London
Jefferies>Gleacher>Raymond James. Yet if you want to do SSG PE post IB it is a good place to start though a notch below (in no order) Laz/PJT/HL/Moelis/Evercore. Still some (few) strong exits. Comp will be lower than Jefferies which is know to pay stupid amounts for an MM (nearing the EBs paying the most).
Thanks for the response. What about more general PE exits? Any idea on the bracket/level of funds people exit to?
MM at best
I would take Gleacher as they are dominant in the MM IB space and pay through the nose in London.
More so than HL, Jefferies and Roths (dominance, not pay)?
HL no their restructuring is top of the street. Roths it depends in my eyes, it depends what you want from a work environment, I would take them over Jefferies
