Goldman AWM to Lateral IB
Hi! I'm a senior in college about to start in Goldman AWM summer 2026. I was wondering what lateraling to BB S&T/IB looks like and when the recruitment cycle generally is for laterals? Will apply for GS internal mobility (which you can only do after 18 months of your start date).
For lateral hires does one have to accumulate 2 years of experience before applying generally? Is it more or less the same process as campus hires? Would appreciate any insights!
