Goldman Industry Groups - Different names?
On their website, the groups are listed as: Industries: Financial institutions, technology, media and telecommunications, healthcare, real estate, industrial, consumer and retail, natural resources, public sector, infrastructure and financial sponsors
Are these what the groups are actually referred to as? I thought they had different names/split up differently.
There are different silos, example: IB, Sales Trading, Prop Trading, Back office, etc. Then they break down by sector. This means that the companies they deal with are just in one industry.
Yes, I understand that part, but I was wondering if those industries are how they are actually split up. I've heard TMT (tech, media, telecommunications), but it seems to be split into two groups on their website. I'm assuming it is just one group?
Also, is there a entertainment/gaming group?
