Looking for color on Goldman’s public sector and infrastructure group. What type of deals do they work on and what type of work do you do as an analyst? Is it a reputable group to be in? What do exits look like?

Career Resources
PSI is Goldman's Public Finance or Municipal IB group, so exits should be more in line with other BB PubFin exits than with GS TMT exits. Regarding league standings, they're strong, but historically they significantly lag behind BofA/Citi/JPM and to a lesser extent MS.
Do they do any project finance? Aren’t infrastructure deals also different than Municipal and develop similar skills to traditional IB?
They do municipal project finance in addition to traditional muni work. This is similar to traditional project finance but I believe they do that in a separate group.
GS PSI typically pursues the more complex and higher fee work so I would caution against comparing them against other BBs based on league tables, where BAML/CITI/JPM dominate by volume.
What group does traditional project finance and what do analysts working on stadium deals mainly do?
