Goldman Sachs Natural Resources Group Insights? (London)
Hi All,
Would really appreciate if anyone could provide insight into GS Natural Resources Group (London).
HR have reached out for lateral recruiting.
Looking to understand what is comp for A2/A3 and Assoc +; What is the team known for, how are the juniors? How many people in the team? Is it mostly Power or O&G? Exits?
I'm an analyst in another American BB Natural Resources team, have a good reputation / relationship with everyone in my team - so not really looking to change - but as you know, one shouldn't be close-minded.
Anecdotal but I think they are really strong on Advisory side. They seem to pipe us (JPM/MS/Citi) on every single mandate and we stuck on Financing side.
Can I ask what bank you are at?
Obviously Citi if they're trying to tag them in with MS and JPM
