Good news? was told to fill out preliminary tax form.
Hello, so I received an email for from a BB (Citi, JPM, etc..) to fill out a preliminary tax form. Is this good news? Will I be getting a phone call soon to continue the process? Or is this normal? It's for a FT IB analyst position.
I wouldn't fill that out until you get a call confirming your offer...
Why not?
I mean I have been given a qualify tax credit test for first round interviews. It doesn't affect chances of getting hired as the company wont know.
Ah gotcha. Well thank you. This is better than no email at all I guess. We’ll see what happens
gotta give me a silver banana one for that ;)
Hi there, did you get the offer for this role? Im in the same boat after a Superday for SA in BB...
It this is JPM, then yeah- Congrats buddy!
I had to fill out a tax form, employment history, etc. before a super day with an MM and didn't get an offer. Probably not a bad sign for you, but wouldn't consider yourself a lock just yet either.
Bump. Does anyone have an info on this. Specifically (JPM, Citi)
JPM does this for everybody that applies...it means nothing
Not the case for me. I received tax stuff before my official offer but after notification I had passed the interviews
