Got IB offer at boutique, opinions on salary
got an offer in nyc at small boutique ib firm. 70 base, bonus is said to be 10 percent on bad year and multiples of that on better years. Can anyone give insight on how this compares to small boutiques?
70k base for a boutique is considered top of the line. It's usually 50-70k.
That bonus is awfully low at 10% that means 7k? bonus should range from 20-40k
its technically for a senior analyst role so idk if 70k is as good but i would be looking at it as more of a analyst role. and yea seems low but they were saying thats on a bad year. the bonus is the only thing im iffy on
