GP Stakes Advisory
Who are the main players in the space of advisory space / banking for GP stakes? This seems like something that would be covered under traditional FIG / spec fin, but is an increasingly specialized field so would imagine more specialized groups working here.
my guess is Evercore PCA
PCA only does secondaries / CVs - I don’t think they cover minority GP stakes sales.

Did a quick google, looks like MS, Evercore (non-PCA), HL have all done work with Hunter Point
HL GP stakes is the sole winner in this space period.
Evercore has a very strong Alternative Asset Management team dedicated to GP stakes advisory, sits within M&A
Berkshire is the leader in the space. New shop called Vaxa Partners led by former head of GP stakes, Ted Gooden, will definitely emerge as another leader.
Also curious why gp stakes investors couldn’t source and run the process in house
