GPA Background Check Post-Offer
Received an offer with minimum GPA of 3.5 that I will need to submit an official transcript for. However, I applied with a 3.4, went through interviews saying I have a 3.4, and even listed it on my resume as such. So my interviewers and HR had always known it wasn't a 3.5 but actually 0.1 off. Will my offer stand? Is this a big deal? What should I do?
You're fine as long as you've disclosed it.
The minimum thing is more just a preliminary filter towards applicants and first rounds.
you're fine- if this is for consulting they generally have that as just a guideline
I was in the same situation as you with the same GPA requirement but had a 3.2. You're fine.
Did you email the recruiter to prevent any misunderstanding? Or just let it be and send it your transcript as is?
I think you're worrying over nothing lol. I just let it be and send my transcript as it is.
Are they asking you to personally bring/mail them a copy of your official transcript or sign over the rights to a background check firm?
I think submit a copy of my official transcript
I realize that, but which one is it? Are you submitting it personally, or signing over the rights to a background check firm to access the official transcript?
