GPA needed to go into IB from Stern?
I have been recently admitted into NYU Stern, and i want to pursue IB in NYC. I have also been admitted into UCLA but id be worried about my chances of being able to get an IB job in California alone and the pay discrepancies( bonus + salary) for working in Cali rather than NYC. I am a bit of a lay person and i know how competitive Stern is, so i am wondering what GPA do i have to maintain to be able to be recruited by BB in NYC?

Just to clarify the fact that salary would be the same across the board, whether you are in Cali or NYC. And assuming that the banks in Cali would be for LA (largest firms being Moelis, HLHZ) or any tech focused bank (Qatalyst, GS, MS Menlo etc..) in SF, your bonus would not be lower in any regards.
Anything below a 3.2983 and you have a 70-80& of may or may not possibly being invited to an informational interview.
