Graduating early, taking SIE before FT start date?

I'm graduating this December and I'm going to be free from Jan to the summer when I start FT and was wondering if it would be a good idea to take the SIE some time in that frame. Even with traveling and other things I have planned, I have a chunk of free time I feel like I can utilize to get it out of the way so 63 & 79 is more manageable during training. I know the one con is money but that is not an issue, it's worth it to pay it for me if it reduces the load during training.

a lot of banks make you take the SIE before training so you might be covered cost wise - should check with campus recruiting team

You ended up being right! I got an email after I made this post that SIE & 63 prep would be provided and I need to complete whenever as long as before start date.
