Green Card Policy for IB

What's the green card policy for each firm?

Heading into a T10 MBA program as an international student in the Fall with the aim of transitioning into IB. However, one hesitation I have with IB is I've seen mixed comments on the timing of the green card sponsorship (EB-2) with some saying at VP level (which is past 3 year OPT) and some saying after 2 years OPT. Just want to get my ducks in order so I can plan ahead.

P.S. I've had experience with the H1B/GC process before. When I struck out my first try at the H1b lottery, my old firm directly sponsored me for a GC, but I didn't end up getting it since I decided to go back to my country.

Not familiar with it but could you elaborate at your firm applying for GC. I am waiting for last shot of H1B and very worried about my future if I don't get selected. Is it fair to ask as an analyst for GC sponsorship?

This is what I'm trying to avoid. From my understanding, consulting applies for your GC at year 2 regardless of whether you got your H1b or not.

Does this only apply to MBB?
