Green Card sponsorship?

Does anyone know of anyone who was sponsored for a green card immediately post getting hired at the analyst level? I'd become a second year analyst in June but my firm isn't sponsoring. The H-1B cap for the year is already at max capacity and my student visa expires in August. However, My country is small and the green card process is relatively smooth should a firm sign the papers. Is it worth it to try and go through lateral recruiting at this point? If so, what firms would be most likely to sponsor in this case?

Top BB banks do not sponsor green card application until you are a VP. What they do is moving you to another region and then call you back after another year with a L-1 visa.

I'm grateful that I have two middle fingers, I only wish I had more.

Can confirm that JPM SF does in fact sponsor. Taiwanese friend of mine started his LC Perm process after his 2nd year as Associate and got his green card right before being promoted to VP. This was 2018, so I don't think much would have changed policy-wise.
