Greenhill 2022?
Currently going through recruiting. Does anyone have an update on the firm's outlook for 2022? How are the overall reputation, culture, comp, and exit opps like? Thanks!

They copped the Rothschild RX Co-Head. Heard the group culture took a nosedive after that, though it seems they did not rise in proportion to that.
Roommate works at Greenhill, so can provide some insight. Culture there is great, everyone's really chill in a good way. Deal flow is meh, but on the flip side the hours are not bad at all because the MDs don't just pitch everywhere under the sun (roommate finishes by 10pm most week days, almost never pulls anything past 2am). Comp is decent, definitely not leading for an EB but still higher than BBs. Exits are still pretty good, especially considering the small analyst class sizes. The firm also has an "implicit" 2-and-out for analysts (they don't force you out and will give you A2A if you want, but they heavily encourage exiting after your analyst years, a bit like Harris Williams), which probably helps with the seniors assisting the analysts with placement.
what about their weekend hours? Also is there WFH flexibility?
Yup, this is accurate

Would love to know how it stacks up against a boutique like Guggenheim, or mid tier BBs. Also if exits are still on par with its lower reputation than before.
Curious about this too. Saw they recently advised on the sale of TEGNA to Standard General (~$8.6B).
Alongside JPM. Not sure how it was split/who led the transaction.
Think JPM led the deal according to the official announcement from TEGNA https://www.tegna.com/tegna-to-be-acquired-by-standard-general-for-24-0…
