Group took me to lunch after superday for lateral… but think I got dinged?
Was in a lateral process, talked to a lot of the people in the group (small group), the week after superday they even asked me out to lunch. but I think they dinged me because even though I thought that the lunch went well, it’s been a week and I haven’t heard anything back.
this feels like the job equivalent of getting ghosted by a lovebomber. damn.
I actually liked the group and thought everyone was nice but ive gone through so many lovebombing talking stages that this ain’t my first rodeo.
Literally have had several superday instances where I’m told I “will do very well in this process” and that “I would be a perfect fit here” and got dinged lol. People just lie for fun istg
Getting told well is pretty normal. Taken out for lunch the week after at a fancy restaurant was a first though
