GS Classics group rankings

Hi, to any current / former GS employees - what is the general rankings of the classic groups (NYC only) or are they all similar. Referring to the following groups which I believe fall under the classics umbrella though might have missed a couple: TMT, C&R, Industrials, FIG, Natural Resources, Healthcare Cross markets, Real estate

Many thanks

Sure - here are my 2c for exits.

Top: TMT / IND / FIG

Mid: CRG / HC

Low: NR / CMG / RE / Infra

As a disclaimer, folks generally consider GS FIG to be best in class for FIG, but what you'll typically find is that while they have a very similar (if not more) MF exits than TMT / IND, these are almost always strictly FIG exits, which is an important caveat. TMT has generally been good, with usually between 30-50% of people who recruit placing into MFPE and similar numbers for IND. Usually everyone (or at least 80% of people) who wants at least UMM out of these groups is able to get it. That said, within the top / mid groups, you'll have a shot at pretty much every MF, and if you don't, the group is not going to be the limiting reagent. Lower groups don't frequently place into MF in general, but can place into UMM funds with the occasional non-NYC MF.
