Let's cause an argument. Which division is better/more respected at a BB - Risk or Corporate Treasury?

Corp treasury spans a wide range of functions
IMO:
CIO/Portfolio/interest rate risk management
Issuance management
Risk/liquidity modelling
1 and 2 are common s&t exits, number 3 could be cool if you’re quanty. Everything else is meh IMO.
Have you seen people from CIO/Portfolio management exit to the buyside and become a PM there?
Definitively MO. Not a bad gig youll see a ton of Ivy-league and semi-target undergrads scattered across the division
