Was curious if anyone knew about the GS groups out of Dallas. Heard the RE and Consumer Discretionary groups are based out of there, but I am not sure. Anyone have any info on the groups, their deal flow, and the culture there? Also heard that the Data Resources Group is situated there and was curious if anyone knew about the lateraling process to one of the other groups in that same office. Thanks.

Real Estate Financing/Specialty Lending for sure. Don’t know about the consumer team mentioned above

It is their Real Estate Financing group, so yes.
Ah okay so its more of a capital markets group and works with debt products? Is there another RE IBD group that deals with REITs and advisory related services? Guessing it is in NYC but am not familiar
Capital markets is based out of NY. The Dallas group does origination for CMBS
