I had a first-round with GS IBD earlier this week. I haven't heard anything back yet. However, a few people from my school already got a phone call and were told they were selected for superday next week. Does it mean I was not selected? But why haven't they got back to me if they already made the decision?

Many banks dont give rejection calls/emails, just acceptances. If they do reject, it may take a few weeks.
Why should a bank take the time to send you a formal rejection letter or call? It's awkward for them and for you, so they do both sides a favor by doing silent rejections.
