GS SA Interview for IBD last Friday

On Friday I had interviews with GS for SA in IBD. I'm from a non-target and realized that while there I was with all other non-target students. I had 3 interviews with 2 people in each. For the latter half of the day I met with one particular group - they cycled in 7 people, which was a mix of junior and senior people. I had met one person in this group trough networking starting back in November.

Is anyone familiar with the GS SA recruiting process who could tell me if the first part of the day was just a screening? Any idea how long it usually takes them to get back? The last woman I met with on Friday told me that GS usually makes decisions quickly but that right now it was a Friday evening and everyone was trying to digestion the information.

So I went through the process for securities in late October - mid November. I interviewed on a Friday as well and was informed of the decision the following Monday.

As far as how my day went, I had three interviews in the morning. Two were by HR professionals and the other was a 2 on 1 with two people from securities for a total of five people. After that I was told that I would receive a call if they wanted me to come back in the afternoon. So in the afternoon I went through four interviews, all 2 on 1 with people in securities so eight people total. Five were in the same group by I was told later that it was simply a coincidence. At the end of those interviews I was told that I would hear back early next week. On Monday I was made aware of my decision

I only had the 3 morning interviews and then that was it- shortest superday ever. I didn't get the afternoon meeting with groups-- does that mean I'm dinged??

@hundge- have you heard back from them yet? I'm still waiting...
