Not sure why everyone is obsessing over this guide as if it contains the secrets to GS or some shit like that

I don't work at GS, but I've seen the guide before, and there's nothing special about it. It's literally the same content as every other valuation book--there's a reason why valuation is pretty much universally standardized

In fact, the McKinsey valuation guide is prob better better because it talks out investing as well
