It's not really true… pretty sure all three at the moment are 85 base. "Lower tier" bb's are paying more in order to steal talent, but that's about all I can think of

You definitely don’t know what you’re talking about. Discount is reflected in bonus. Ofc salaries are all the exact same
Who really cares though. The people who are going to choose gs choose gs. If you’re going to complain about a discount, you don’t know the value that gs provides (ex- laymans prestige, solid alum base, etc.)
False! While the base figures are the same for GS (and this is only IB, other divisions do not follow this), the bonuses are definitely below par. The GS discount is real for junior bankers and it's false to suggest otherwise
What about jpm and ms
The discount seems to be more for GS / MS. JPM as far as I'm aware pay in line with other mid-tier BBs
Does anyone have numbers for these firms?
Is normal bonus range for BB 45-65 for A1 and 70-90 for A2
