I promise you this.

If you work in a bland industry with people you like, you will be far happier than working in your dream industry with people you can't stand.

What about an industry you don't really like with people you like?

First off, we're talking about an SA here, so your group won't be set in stone until you get your FT offer, which is the most important thing. In order for you to do that, you're going to need to work well with your team.

Second, you're only a Junior, so I know you may want to work in Oil & Gas or whatever now, but you'll soon realize that all deals are going to feel the same after a while, and you're going to need an environment where the associates don't shit down your throats. You have a good shot at M7 and top PE shops from all of those banks, and it's going to come down to your performance and connections at the bank.
