It's me. My bitch ass just cleared his first $100K bonus after his first full year in IB. Fam I used to work at the fucking grocery store when I went to community college to save up for tuition. Fucking $8.50 an hour. It got worse from there: I started in Audit!!!! Now I just got $90K and math AFTER taxes.
I'm boutta crack a bottle of Jame-O tonight then call up all my ex girlfriend's belligerently to talk my shit!!!

I meant that I cleared six figures for the first time. The number wasn't $100K on the dot; $130K pre-tax.

Congrats my friend, from one ex-CC student to another. I cant imagine how long it took to get to where you are today, but I would guess it took between 2-6 years of straight up hustling. Have a great night, you earned it.

There are more of us than you would think, it just isnt clear from our profiles. We dont incorporate it into our resumes or LinkedIns, and obviously we are still the minority, but I have met multiple guys in Consulting / IB that started at CCs. Just keep out-working your competition and you'll be fine.
I started at a CC and now I'm a VP in IB so there is definitely hope.
