Originally from the Midwest and interested interviewing for the groups in the future for SA. Out of curiosity but which group would you chose from a long term banking career or PE exit path?
I've heard good things about both. I've always viewed these banks on similar tiers.

Thought they were rumored to be moving their HQ out of Chicago like Citadel did.
I could be wrong but I think that was only Gugg Investments and not Gugg Securities. I can't comment on the layoffs.
Gotcha - you are probably correct.
Wasn't indicating or referring to layoffs. Was referring to moving people out of Chicago and to another office -- which is Gugg Investments as you indicated. My fault.
No, that was just the Investments side of the house. Securities (banking) never been stronger in Chicago.
