Guggenheim Superday

Anyone else recently have a Guggenheim superday through their school?

I just had mine this morning, and the questions felt significantly more difficult than what people at my school had seen in past cycles. Curious if anyone had a similar experience this year or if this round was just especially technical.

When did Guggenheim become this technical?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Guggenheim superdays can vary in difficulty and focus depending on the year, interviewer, and candidate pool. While some superdays lean heavily on fit and behavioral questions, others can be more technical, especially if the interviewers want to test your depth of knowledge in finance.

It's not uncommon for elite boutique (EB) firms like Guggenheim to have technical-heavy interviews, as they often seek candidates with strong analytical and financial skills. If this year's questions felt more challenging, it could be due to a shift in their evaluation process or simply the preferences of the interviewers you encountered.

If you're preparing for future rounds, ensure you're solid on valuation methodologies, financial modeling basics, and any technicals related to your resume or past experiences.
