H1-B Sponsorship Dilemma

Hi y'all,

I just got a super day invitation from CIT Group regarding their analyst position and I'm stuck in a dilemma because I know their job posting said they wouldn't consider sponsoring H1-B visas, but I just went ahead with the first-round interview (on campus) as an international student and they seemed to like me.

My question is: How likely will I be to get an offer assuming I do well on the super day? Do you know of any precedent from companies sponsoring for h1-b visas when their previous job posting said otherwise?

I don't know if I should talk to an HR about this or just answer what I need when being asked. I do have an option for OPT, however.

Any advice/tip is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
