Harris Williams Richmond Reputation/Culture/Hours vs NYC

Haven’t seen many up-to-date posts on HW Richmond and the firm as a whole. Any insight on what facetime/hours look like for analysts? Do they still generally compete with HL/WB/Baird with reputation in the MM space? Solid culture?

Have an offer and have spoken to quite a few people, but wanted to hear some other opinions. Choosing between them and a different NYC MM (Jeff/HL/Baird); really liking the idea of Richmond COL/Southern culture.

From what I know, the NYC office is from the recent Sixpoint merger (PCA).  Historically I don’t think HW’s M&A practice has had an office in NYC. Curious to know if there’s a difference in comp/lifestyle there given it’s not the traditional M&A business

It’s known to be pretty sweaty, but IB is a sweaty line of work. I know a few people in the Richmond office and I think highly of all of them. Solid reputation in MM and compete with the banks you mentioned. Good MM PE exits for analysts.
