Have a referral after applying?
Applied to a role, got a referral after applying as a banker responded to my email, literally a day after I had applied. What is the best way to show I have a referral now? Not sure I can edit my application, so I pretty much can either withdraw this application, and apply again under another email, (this time with the referral), or somehow contact HR for the bank and tell them I have a referral from abcd employee. Kind of a unique situation but anyone with any advice would be greatly helpful.
just email the person u chatted and they'll do it internally to HR

Depends how close you are or how well you think u did. If it went very well then sure why not, otherwise send them a update being like "Hi, just wanted to follow-up on our conversation. I recently applied to [xyz firm] and really appreciated your guidance through the process. I couldn't have done it without you blah blah." something along those lines so they know
