Have any of you monkeys ever done any "Don'ts" said on WSO and lived to tell the tale?

I know someone who accidentally forgot to take her a nose ring out during a superday. She still got an offer and is happily employed.

Wore a tie pin to work everyday during my SA. Got a return offer.

Obviously a tame one, but shows that you don't have to listen to everything you see on WSO.

Better one - know someone who had multiple phone interviews with different banks in the same day, and in answering the "why xyz bank" question during one interview gave an answer about why another bank and only realised when s/he finished answering and the interviewer said "uhh, we are xyz bank not abc bank." Somehow person recovered and ended up getting the offer anyway.

I said I wanted trading for the competitiveness and the money when I was interviewing and still got the job. Why else would you want to do it? You're not exactly doing God's work, no matter what Goldman Sachs thinks.
