Have you guys seen the Microsoft Co-Pilot trailer?
This thing looks like it can literally do >50% of an analyst's tasks. Yes there's going to be compliance and confidentiality issues etc. etc. and industry-wide adoption isn't going to happen overnight, but the thing is generative AI is literally in its nascent stages. A year ago this was unthinkable for anybody who wasn't knowledgeable about AI. And improvements in this technology has literally been exponential, which is to say that what you're seeing in the trailer right now is no doubt a miniscule fraction of what generative AI will be capable of doing in the near future. Who knows what's going to happen in 5-10 years?
