Headhunters that recruit experienced IB analysts

A lot of the recruiters I've been referred to only do PE (i.e. CPI. SG Partners, etc.). I'm 8 months into my first year as an analyst at a boutique and looking to move.

Who are the good headhunters that recruit lateral analysts?

They won't be upset because they expect it, but be up front about what other recruiters you may be working with and what opportunities you've had your name thrown in the hat for. Buddy of mine made the mistake of submitting his resume to some BBs via two different recruiters. One found out and was very upset that she did not inform him. (His resume was already being reviewed) She stopped working with him soon after that.

Why don't you ask friends to refer your CV to the relevant MD's in those BB groups? For analysts HH are useless. In fact it will hurt your chances to get the interview as direct referrals are cheap compared to HH fees payable for an lateral analyst. Many of my friends who tried to move didn't get any interview from the HH but got plenty of interview when there was a direct referral. It doesn't matter if this referral is done by an analyst, associate, vp or MD, it is all beneficial.
