Health condition during SA stint - what to do?

Incoming SA at a top EB. Developed a health condition lately that require me to get weekly treatment for the next 6 months, possibly into my SA stint. Was wondering how this would be considered and whether it may affect my chance to get a return offer? It's an eye condition that will prevent me from being looking at a screen each time for a whole day each time I get treated, so that's one day every week I essentially would not be able to work.

Not sure if this is the best advice but let them know ASAP as well as possibly get a doctor's note so that you can provide this if they ask.

In regards to it effecting your chances at a return offer, technically it shouldn't since a medical condition is a protected class and as long as you show you're dedicated and eager to work they should be willing to make something work (i.e. possibly be on calls and take physical notes, do some projects on paper, etc...)
