Health Studies Minor?
I'm really interested in the healthcare sector. Will a health studies minor help me express my interest and perhaps stand out with a unique/quirky minor? Or will it just end up being unnecessary extra coursework?
Maybe, but tbh you should really only do a minor if you’re interested in the classes.

Got experience in HC through pitching healthcare stocks for an investment fund. Once I got started in that, took a healthcare economics class that helped learn a lot about the landscape.
Not sure about the minor but I’m sure it’d be beneficial if you’re learning about healthcare policy/economics etc.
It will help you standout for roles specific to HC IB, etc. On the flip side, it would be harder to convince someone you also are interested in TMT, etc. if the HC angle does not work out.
