Pro: 30% of the GDP. Get to see how fu**ed the system truly is from a distance rather than seeing it as a provider / healthcare worker (payors refusal to cover innovative solutions is probably the main reason why the healthcare prices are absurd in this country). Won't go into detail but it's quite insane how these lack of insurance coverages for patients have screwed over some fairly large mergers in the healthtech space that could make drastic differences in patient care (in a good way).
Con: Can't think of any big ones besides it being sweaty. Usually fairly counter-cyclical but it seems like deal flow is down in some subverticals by a margin.
