Way ahead is a stretch, just ran a FactSet screen and GS is actually ahead when it comes to announced M&A deals for 2021. JPM does more financings which boosts up their total deal count and deal amount. JPM does fantastic, definitely the perennial favorite in the space with their HC Conference and large balance sheet. That said, GS is def no slouch and MS and BoFA aren't far behind.

To respond to your second comment about Evercore, CVP, etc...Centerview and Evercore is indeed up there, especially on the M&A standpoint. However, Moelis and PJT are still a ways off. In fact, Jefferies and Guggenheim are ahead of those two respectively. Moelis doesn't announce deal size for many of their deals given they're private and also aren't particularly active in Pharma. PJT does sporadic large deals but doesn't have consistency.
