Help: Anyone remember the article about cheating bankers pricing bonds etc.
Hi everyone,
I need some help finding an article I came across here. It was about an ex-banker (possible DCM) that told the story about how his desk used to cheat corporations on how they priced deals (bonds etc.) and took a cut no matter what.
It's the way the presented percentages or something.
Anyone know what I am talking about?
I know but sadly I don't remember anything that would help you to identify it. Probably read about the article on WSO/dealbreaker.
I remember that article. It had to do with how banks were pricing things based on some formula using dollar value/bp change rather than percent of change that always yielded them a gain. If you find it, please post it. Thanks!
