Help - Don't have my banker books
Hey guys, where I can find all the M&A deals a specific BB was the banker for? For example, if I'm looking for all the deals JPM lead in HCIT M&A is there an easy way to find this list online?
My group has all the banker books at our offices but I'm one the road for the next few days without access to the hard copies. I have access to CapIQ, ect, but I'm not sure how to screen by retained banker either.
Really appreciate any help I can get.
Do you have a mergermarket account ?
Run a transaction search for M&A and then in the transaction advisors section, type in JPM & its subsidiaries (capital markets group, etc.).
^^ do above and then screen for HIT
You can screen for sell-side or buy-side too. It's all in the transaction screen criteria. Just type in advisors as the search word.
If you have Thomson just run a custom screen. CapIQ advisor data isn't good enough that I'd depend on it (maybe for large scale underwriting, certainly not for M&A).
At the BB level? Uh, yes it is. It's not like we are talking lower MM here.
Did the CapIQ advisory screen for the sectors and banks I was trying to understand more. Worked pretty well. Thanks for the help guys.
