Help with the most stupid mistake URGENT!

Hi.

I just got an call from an MD at a division of a bank that I wasn't offered a first round interview because my application name/email and my school name/email are different.

Our school allows us to use [email protected] (which I submitted my app from) but apparently during networking I was flagged as [email protected] (you get the idea). My school for some reason also uses a different name for my email than my legal/preferred name so I've asked them to change that as well.

I contacted someone on the school's recruiting team letting them know I submitted with [email protected].

Should I let the MD that called to let me know that I also applied to the other division and ask him how to fix this? How can I make sure this doesn't prevent me from getting a first round?
