Hercules Capital Investment Analyst Co-op
Hi, I'm a fourth-year junior studying at Drexel and I recently got an interview with Hercules Capital & Alkali Partners LLC for Investment Banking Analyst positions. Can anyone guide me on how to prepare for the interview and what to expect from the interviewer? I have no prior experience in IB and really want to nail this position!!
Any kind of information would help :)
I go to northeastern and got an offer at Alkali for my first co-op- didn't take it though. The process was 3 interviews, 1st with an analyst asking some technology based technical questions. e.g. how would you value a tech company with no revenue. 2nd interview was with an associate, I did not like this guy he seemed really broish and was downright rude, maybe he was having a bad day, but he basically told me he wants to start his own microcap fund. But anyways the questions were more technical, hardly any behavioral ones. Basically running through every line on a income statement and balance sheet. Last one was with the founder. He was a very nice guy, very genuine, but definitely hardcore. That was all behavioral and more of what do you want to learn etc. They arent that big so you will learn alot but hours will be bad, as per my friend, as you are creating data rooms, pitches etc.
