Let me chime in before this thread turns ugly. I think Wharton is an amazing school and no one goes to one of the best schools in the country because of how hot the women are. Not bashing the school or trying to make lesser ranked schools appear better because they have hotter women. Just saying that I witnessed both grenades and land mines in that video and has to comment lol.
Yes, I can be a humorless douche sometimes, but common. How many of these banking/rapping videos are we going to see. I have come to full grips with the fact that people do not consider finance to be anything but geeky. Could we all please not reinforce these opinions. I mean really, rapping about WACC, doing lame ass punked parodies, an asian kids 1st day at Wharton. Common, that shit is played out.
You know whats funny, Bankers vs Consultants. You know why? Because it was pretty much the 1st of those type of videos and had pretty decent quality. A bunch of Wharton TA girls singing off key to a lame ass song makes them look like fools not comedians.
I have to agree with that there were definitely some WMDs in that video.
Good concept, poor execution. The guy sounded like he was reading verbatim off an index card or something. I don't expect him to be proficient at rapping, but at least put a little slang on the end of some words.

First off welcome to 3 years ago, this was posted on WSO way back in the day. Next, this was done by the Columbia Business School entry class I remember and lastly the video was apart of their closing week at CBS orientation if I remember.
Yes ofcourse its corny thats the whole point of orientation week come on people. This was pre-crash too I think, so we were all celebrating WACC back then boooyahhhhhh...not so much today.
The problem is, every school has these "follies" programs and everyone picks the same couple of songs and makes a video...there is nothing original about it. I'm certainly not the most creative person in the world, so I am not trying to be a huge hater, but either make it original or, at the very least, make it well. If you're "rapping" consists of reading lyrics then you have failed miserably.
