I had the exact same conversation with my MD twice... Like word for word my reply was the exact same and he was definitely able to tell.
MD: "So how are your liking your internship?"
Me: "It's going great! Learning a lot and currently staffed on a wide variety of assignments which I'm loving. The analyst culture is amazing and love soaking up the summer of Atlanta.
MD just looked at me funny then moved to the next guy.
