High Yield Exit opps

Hey Guys,

I am a recent grad. I have been offered a role for as a high yield investment analyst in one of the small asset management firms in London. I was trying for IB, but couldn't even land an interview. I would like to know what exit opps I would have after this role. Can I go into investment banking (leveraged finance) or distressed debt hedge fund? I would appreciate the help.
