highschooler who NEEDS a top tier offer

Hi guys, jsut found out about this forum and I love whats going on here (ignore title, long story). i’m a freshman at a top-tier high school (think like High Tech / QHSS / Lawrenceville tier, you get the idea). I’ve basically known for a while now that I’m going into investment banking, just makes the most sense given how I think + my work ethic. Not really a question of if, more just optimizing the path tbh.

I’m already at the top of my class and am basically a lock for HYP (don’t really see a world where that doesn’t happen unless admissions just completely fumbles it). So I’m trying to get ahead early instead of doing what everyone else does and starting sophomore year.

Main thing I’m wondering is what I should be doing right now to separate myself. Most people at my school are honestly pretty mid/unmotivated so it’s hard to have real conversations about this stuff without losing brain cells. Would rather just talk to people who are actually in IB already.

If you’re not at a top bank it’s probably not super relevant to what I’m trying to do (no offense), so ideally looking to connect with GS/MS/EVR people or similar.

Appreciate any advice, especially from people who were always ahead of the curve and ended up where they should be.

If this is real and not rage bait, jeez man step outside and touch some grass. A freshman in HS thinking they are predestined by god to get into HYP and GS/JPM is hilarious. I don’t doubt you are a smart kid, but being likable and being able to hold conversations with people is much more important than your SAT score. I’d work on that first, no one wants to hire an intern who thinks they are Patrick Bateman reincarnated
